Mary joined Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia Pacific Gateway to announce federal funding of more than $6.2 million for projects designed to take full advantage of the economic opportunities provided by the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Funding is provided through Western Economic Diversification Canada under the Western Diversification Program, and the Western Economic Partnership Agreement, an initiative with the Province.
